Jim Huneke received his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education in 2000, and is an accomplished tennis professional. Jim understands how important physical education can be to a young child’s confidence, health and overall well-being. Physical activity, he believes, is crucial to a child’s physical, emotional and mental development and can help to establish important lasting ideas and habits about the value of physical activity.

Jim Huneke has received accolades for his commitment to quality education. In 2007 Jim was the recognized as the state of Illinois’ Young Professional Physical Education Teacher of the Year. He has also been responsible for procuring physical education equipment for Madison Elementary School, which is located in the Quincy Public School District.
